2006 KDA Breeder's Classic I and II at the Kentucky Horse Park
Won for the Roses is once again showing off her uphill movement and her lovely disposition as she won her Two-Year-Old filly class and was second in the same class on the following day. Scoring both 8's for her walk and trot with the following comments from "S" Judge Sue Madden Mandas: "clear rhythm, moves straight and uphill, lovely type, shows great potential". Comments from Gail Hoff-Carmona include: "strong coupling, ground covering walk, clear rhythm, energetic".

September 24, 2005 Dressage at Lamplight and the USDF/Cosequin Breeder's Championship Final
Won for the Roses won the Yearling Fillies class (8.2 for walk). Then went on to take fourth place in our 2005 Regional USDF/Cosequin Championship Final. This was only her third time showing in-hand but she was relaxed and willing to show off her wonderful movement!
August 26, 2005 Ole South Dressage Classic, TN

Won for the Roses won the Yearling Fillies class with an
80% (8.5 for walk), which remained the highest score of the day!!! Then she won the Young Filly Championship and the Young Horse Championship. Finally she was awarded Grand Champion of the entire breed show, showing against nationally recognized mares and stallions. Rosie also won the Hanoverian Breed Class against many nice horses, including an imported States Premium mare. She was the high place Hanoverian of the show. She was also awarded the Born in the USA award for having the highest score of the competition horses born in the USA.
Kosmopolitan enjoyed his first show experience by winning Reserve Champion in the Yearling Colts class. It was a very good show!
July 22, 2005 Dressage at Lamplight
Wow what a horse show!!! Won for the Roses proved she could run with the big boys and girls of the dressage world. Not only did she win her Yearling Fillies class, she won the Young Filly Championship class, qualifying for the USDF/Cosequin Championship Final. Then she went on to win the Young Horse Championship class. This was Rosie's first show! We are very excited to show such a talented filly with such a super temperament!
Tansalea (ownned by the Hersom's)placed fourth in the yearling fillies class against some tough competition. It was also her first show. She is very trainable and affectionate with an extravagant trot and a great walk!
May 25 Kentucky Dressage Association Spring Breed Show

Angelico
We took Angelico and Dixon to their first USDF/Cosequin In-Hand horse show in May. Angelico showed off his amazing gaits to become the Yearling Colt Champion. Dixon came in second place right behind his pasture mate also showing off his correct conformation and powerful gaits. It was an awesome first show for the yearling stud colts! They experienced the busy atmosphere of the Kentucky Horse Park and are now ready for their next adventure.
Cross-country is open for schooling. We have over 28 obstacles at the BN, Novice & Training Levels. Jumps are in open fields & through the woods.
