1998 Tip Top

Sold November 2006 Congratulations to the Ciafone Family from Colorado! Thanks for purchasing another horse from us!
"Toby arrived last night - a dark, cold and icy night. He was such a gentleman! Walked quietly up our long driveway. He is lovely. He settled in just fine and did not mind all of our fussy over him after his long trailer ride. Thanks again!" (e-mail from Tip Top's new owner)
2004 Kosmopolitan

Sold 2006 Congratulations to Pody from Ohio on her purchase of a terrific hunter prospect!
2001 Devon
Recent Update from December 1, 2006 - "Devon is a very cool horse... he is coming along very well. He is very sweet, very smart and very kind. He's kind of funny too. The other day he took the dog's ball and started playing with it. I thought my Jack Russell was going to have a heart attack! He couldn't figure out how to get his ball back from Devon! It was very funny!
Devon is getting stronger every day and it shows. I had the chiropractor come and check him over. She really liked him and his temperament. He's super easy to work around and I wanted to compliment you on the fine job you did with his ground work. He is very pleasant to be around. He's become a bit of a treat hound, but otherwise he's just so well behaved.
His work under saddle is coming along well. He's learning to reach out in his trot and balance himself better. He can leg yield nose to the wall, go shoulder-fore, rein-back and turn on the forehand all pretty well. The canter is getting much stronger and more underneath himself. I've tried him over the cavalleti at all heights. I was hoping he'd do a little jumping but so far he can trot over everything so he sees no point in jumping. I'm going to try the real jumps soon, but I have a feeling he's not much for that part of the world. He's been out trail riding too. Goes well alone and with a friend. His walk it wonderful, he's got a full 2 feet overreach, very nice. He's easy to train because he goes a long with everything pretty willingly."

Sold 2006 Congratulations to Sandra from New York! Devon is a wonderful horse!
Got to the barn this AM and Devon was quietly waiting in his stall. I turned him out with one of the other geldings and he was very polite. He cantered around the field for a while checking things out - he moves very nicely. When I left the other gelding was eating, but Devon was more interested in checking out the field so he was wandering around by himself. He doesn't seem to be clingy, but rather interested in figuring out what the heck happened to IL while he was in the truck. Of course last night and this AM were the coldest its been to date! Right now he walks around with big eyes trying to figure out who we all are. But, through it all he has been polite and well mannered. A little distracted, but polite. But, who wouldn't be? Thanks again." 10/13/06 (e-mail from Devon's owner Sandy)
Silver Jazzmin

Recent Update about Amber and Jazzmin from January 16, 2007 - The top photo is from the dressage portion of an eventing clinic. The next photo was taken after the show jumping portion of the clinic. Amber and Jazzmin have had the opportunity to train with Olympic Eventing competitor Perter Grey. While schooling over coffins and water obstacles Peter called Jazzmin "a natural". Amber and Jazzmin are doing well and we wish them the best in their everyday training and at the shows and events.

Sold 2006 Congratulations to Amber from Florida! Jazzmin is an athletic mare with a lot of class.
"Just wanted to let you know that Jazzmin is coming along nicely here in Florida. Our daughter Amber (Pony Club D3) loves her!!! Jazz is getting used to our warm and humid climate, but is already starting to sprout her winter coat now in early October! She is a wonderful horse with a very nice temperament. She gets along great with her stablemates and we love her nickers at feeding time. We have been riding her 4-5x a week and she is getting back into show shape pretty quickly, after her time off for motherhood and adjusting to a new home. We have been doing a lot of flat work, bending and suppling and a little jumping at low heights as her muscles strengthen. She looks very fancy when she rounds up. We are hoping to have her ready for a USEA/USPC eventing clinic coming up in early December. Thank you for selling us Jazzmin! We hope her foal Silver Snapdragon is doing fine and finds a great home, too." 10/10/06 (e-mail written by Amber's mom, who is also the DC of a United States Pony Club).
1997 Mowata

Sold 2006 Congratulations to Kirsten from Ohio on her purchase of a gifted gelding with tons of personality!
Update from October 16, 2006 - "Mo is doing well, working with the dressage trainer in my barn and I am jumping him and am hoping to Fox Hunt him this fall. Thanks"
"I just wanted to let you know that Mo has settled in and has learned his
place in the herd with all the "boys". I did ride him on Saturday for a
short hack and he is WONDERFUL! It will take us sometime to adjust to each
other, but he was so quiet I put my 3 year old daughter on him with me and
he was very responsive - she took the reins and asked him to walk, he
walked and asked him to halt, by barely putting pressure on the reins and
he stopped. Thanks" 5/15/06 (e-mail from Mo's new owner)
2001 Dazzle Me
We are so happy about Jenna's dedication and success in the hunter ring!

Sold 2005 Congratulations to Jenna from Florida!
"He has been a joy to be around. His ground manners and personality are far and above the talents you said he possessed, Jenna and Dazzle clicked from day one as horse and rider, but more than that they bonded outside the working area. I would look to you if I were looking for another horse, and for anyone interested in an honest [assessment] they may use this as a "Best Reference." Dan and Laura sold me sight unseen except for a photo. Laura took time to learn about who this animal was for and a personal commitment on how honest and true this horse is. We were the winners because he is all they represented and more. I have purchased over 35 horses in my life and this was the one deal I had not one anxious thought." 1/14/06 (e-mail from Wally, who purchased Dazzle for Jenna, his granddaughter)
"I took Dazzle in our first show together today and he did absolutely wonderful. Dazzle took home a 1st , 3rd and a reserve! I am so excited and happy that he is doing so well! Thank you so much for selling my pop pop this wonderful horse for my Christmas present!" 4/22/06
"Dazzle and I showed in another 4 classes today and placed in them all . We received 3 firsts, 2 reserves, a fifth and a grand just for today! We went in the hunter hack as our final class and it was almost flawless! I am so excited that at our first show together we did so well!" 4/23/06 (e-mail from Jenna)
"Dazzle is doing great. I am looking for an equitation horse for my daughter. Do you have anything? She loves Dazzle and we thought maybe you had something similar?" 12/26/05(e-mail from Jan Westmark, Dazzle's new trainer)
1997 Donavan
We are thrilled with the knowledge that Donavan's owner Sheila has called him a "perfect match" and that his dressage potential is being developed properly!

Sold 2005 Congratulations to Sheila from Arizona!
Recent Update November 21, 2006 - Last weekend we showed Donavan in a big recognized dressage show here in Tucson. He was a star! He received over 60% in all classes (training level) and got a first, second (missed first by .3%) and a fourth. He actually had one of the highest scores in the show in his T-3 ride.
Denise and I have decided to go first level now to show off his extraordinary trot more, especially his lengthenings, they are stupendous.
I must admit he was tired, as was I, but we are all thrilled. Tired as he was, when he entered the ring for the last ride, he really tried. Comments from all three judges were, "lovely horse", "excellent gaits", "beautifully moving forward". Can't ask for more than that from his first real show with only one schooling show under his belt. Thanks again for my treasure. "He is beautiful and was clam and sensible right from the start. I am thrilled that he is more than I thought. Your description of him was totally accurate. I'm going out now to see him and begin the rest of our lives together. The fun part starts!!! Thank you for him!" 1/9/06
"Thanks again and Denise Krause [Shelia's dressage trainer] and I both said we would definitely recommend your barn to buy horses from, even without actually seeing the horse other than photos, you absolutely were completely honest with me and I really appreciate it." 1/9/06
"Boy, does he ever move! Today we started with his first day of light work. ....WOW does he ever move well. A "10" walk, which cannot be taught! His trot is incredible and his canter is quite large. His temperament is exactly as quiet and sensible as you said it would be and I'm so grateful for that." 1/10/06
"Quick update on Donavan. His walk and trot is where we want it to be and we are working hard on his canter. As you know, it is big!!! He is developing quickly and such a joy to work with. You were absolutely right about him and I am still amazed at my good fortune to have found him. A perfect match, we really like each other!" 6/19/06
"Donavan was in his first show today and did very well. He scored in the 60's in both classes and won them both! We still have lots of work to do, especially on the canter, but we are sure that will be as fine as his lovely trot. I thought you'd be pleased, I am! 7/9/2006 (e-mail from Donavan's owner Sheila)
1999 Ham's Play - sold in foal for a 2006 baby

Sold 2005 Congratulations to Kathy and Karly from Illinois!
Recent Update from Kathy on August 21, 2006 - Ham was approved by the Oldenburg N.A. The Inspection Team commented about Ham's high score stating "You know this is an exceptionally high (score) for a thoroughbred, she will be in the Main Mare Book and I'm sure you will agree with me she deserved it." She also received comments about her beautiful trot.
"We just love her to pieces!" 10/10/05 (e-mailswritten by Kathy)
1994 Mustang Sally

Sold 2005 Congratulations to the Ciafone Family from Colorado!
Recent Update October 25, 2006 - "We bought Mustang Sally from you about 1 1/2 years ago. Well, we love her and she is more than we could wish for. I am hoping she has a bigger sibling! We are in the market for a horse, much like Sally. I have been looking for quite a while with no success. We want a Sally personality, jumping ability and dressage as well. Both older kids have taken Sally x-country - she is a dream, at Pony Club rallies, dressage shows etc... Sally will never leave here, just so you know. I really want a reliable, confidence builder type - Just like Sally. Everyone we meet falls in love with her. She was voted "Cutest Pony Ever" at the Rocky Mtn. Region Pony Club Rally.
Anyway, I could go on and on about her... Thanks"
"Well Sally has arrived and we are so impressed!!! She is very pretty, the video did not do her justice. All of the kids, even my 5 year old took turns walking her around the arena. The kids are so thrilled!" 3/27/05 "We are very pleased with Sally... she is very gentle and loving to the kids." 4/5/05 (e-mail written by Sally's new owner)

1992 T for Terrific

Sold 2004 Congratulations to Kristine from Illinois!
"I did receive the tape [of T for Terrific] yesterday evening. My client and I viewed the tape together and I observed her falling in love. She'll be waiting at the farm when the trailer pulls in the drive ready to make a life long friend. She is AMAZED with the quality of the horse and is very excited!" (e-mail from Kristine)
1998 Ameretto

Sold 2004 Congratulations to Brie from North Carolina!
From the new owners of Ameretto:
Brie and Ameretto
|
"This is Brie and "Amero" her new pony. They are getting along great! She's been riding every day and having lots of fun. This was my first time buying sight unseen and I got very lucky, the sellers were honest people and this pony is exactly what we hoped for."
(Jocelyn and Brie are the new owners of Ameretto. This is a copy of an e-mail from Jocelyn to her friends)
Just want to let you know [Ameretto] has settled in great and my daughter is completely in love with him. He is being a super good boy and is excellent under saddle, I have yet to find a green bone in his body. I'll take him to a near by farm next week so we can jump a full course. He is truly a pleasure and I have enjoyed riding him as much as Brie has. I showed a picture of him to my "pony" ladies and he was a huge hit. Additionally, I mentioned that he was bought off a video and was represented very honestly, so everyone wanted to know who the honest seller was. I hope you don't mind, I posted your farm information to my pony friends and even though you don't have anymore ponies for sale there are quite a few people on the list so maybe you'll get some inquiries about your horses.
